The Chef

                                                                

    Once upon a time, there was an orphanage. It stood, all alone in the middle of a dense jungle. It stood upright in the beauties of nature. Though it was amongst the most beautiful parts of the jungle, in its construction, it was not exactly what one had in mind when visiting this heaven. This amazing place, was, in fact owned by a much more amazing man. He was a very kind gentleman who treated the children very nicely. He owned this place only to create more of his kind, good-mannered gentlemen and ladies. He took away guardian-less children to his home, and educated them, taught them and trained them to be good, successful people in life. The children considered themselves to be very lucky, as Morroway provided them with a very comfortable life. Among all the children there (there were fifteen of them there) a girl called Hoberly was his favourite. The two of them often used to talk about the time for Hoberly to leave the home and go out into the world and try her luck to become something on her own. Morroway said that he would accompany her wherever she went. But the one thing that Morroway did not like was that whenever Hoberly said that she would choose cooking as her profession. But then it was her choice.

      A few years went by, but Morroway’s attitude towards Hoberly’s profession changed. He did not like it at all. So, one day when she spoke about it to him again, he fretted and fumed and charged at her, coming down like a ton of bricks and, he banished her out of the home and commanded her never to show her face again. So, she walked for days and days without anything to eat or drink. Until, at last, she reached London. There, she staggered the streets and passed a lot of shops one that caught her eye was a Patisserie. There she a woman inside with a very kind face. She entered the shop but the guard stopped her. The woman came to her rescue. She invited her to come inside. Hoberly stepped inside, dripping wet and soaking. She told the woman her whole journey and how she wanted to be chef. Claire, the woman who was a pastry chef herself, told the girl that she would teach her to become one. So, she took her under her wing and Hoberly became a very professional and renowned chef all over London and beyond.

        A few years later, the news came in the papers that an orphanage was under ruin and was undergoing hard times. Hoberly realized that this was her orphanage and went to see it. She could see that it was not the one she had experienced. She provided funds for it and it regained life. Morroway was most pleased with her and asked for her forgiveness. She was kind hearted and accepted it right away.
