Teresa Prior

"Teresa Prior, I am going to take a nap", my mistress said. I nodded in response. As soon as my mistress entered her room, I silently slipped away and stood in front of the mysterious room. The sign read: "KEEP AWAY FROM THIS ROOM".

I have been contemplating this for three months, I had to enter the room today. I stepped closer to the door and tried opening the lock. With a small click, the door slightly opened.

I stepped inside the room but regretted it immediately. Dust covered everything visible. There were spider webs in every corner of the room. But I didn't want to go back, I couldn't. I didn't want my efforts to go in vain. So, I continued exploring around. I saw a cupboard with a cloth covering it. With one swift motion, I removed the cloth. For a few seconds, I was blinded by dust. Dust entered my system making me cough and sneeze. Dust entered in my eyes, making them sting. After a few seconds, I could see a painting in front of me. The caption read: "Teresa Prior was born to Four and Tris Prior. she was born in England on 31st December 1301. She died on 31st December 1431 in England."
