Tattoo With A Meaning

"I hope you are not gonna regret seeing tattoo after some days," I smirked at my colleague Rakshak. He had recently got a permanent tattoo on his wrist. He said "No." I don't know but I have this strong feeling that most of the people feel regret by seeing the tattoo on their bodies after some years.

It might be some symbol, partner name, etc. "You should have not done it permanently. What if you want to remove it in the future?" I asked the questions purposefully. He took a deep breath and said, "Dude, It's my mother's name. Hope you understand." He left for the washroom with a bit of wetness in his eyes.

Another colleague of mine came when I was sitting alone on the next day. "Prithvi, you should have not asked him in that way. I have listened to your questions." "I understood. But why he felt disturbed?" I said in an apologetic tone. "He recently lost his mother," he answered. "Oh God! I must say sorry to him."

We both went to him and I said sorry. Rakshak smiled and said it's fine. I asked him about the tattoo studio. He asked me, "why?" "I lost my mom too". I replied. We both shared a warm hug. I don't know whether it was sympathy or apology but I felt tears in my eyes.
