Today was Naina's first day of her college. Ever since she received her admission letter from Pearls Engineering College in Delhi, she was really happy. It was her dream come true. So the day she got the letter she applied for a hostel. Although she still had one and a half month, she started her packing. She didn't want to forget anything she might need in the hostel.

Finally, the day arrived. As soon as she woke up the reality of the situation dawned on her. She would be awesome from her home for dinner whole years. She would miss everyone. Especially her brother who was her crime partner. She sighed and got out of her bed. Out of habit, she started toward her bathroom. But something stopped her. Every day she would leave her bed in a mess and her mom would make her bed. But something stopped her today.

'Why not release the burden on her today?'

She walked towards the bed and made up her bed. She could feel the hustle bustle downstairs. And smiled to herself.

She brushed and took a bath. Wearing a bathrobe she emerged from the bathroom. Her brown hair having a wild look after being thoroughly dried with a towel. She changed into a black top, black sweatpants and red sneakers.

She practically hopped down to the kitchen and half-yelled:

"Good morning, everyone"

"Moooorning!!!" Everyone said happily.

It was just one hour when her cab would arrive to pick her up. She looked up at everyone. Her dad was putting all of her stuff by the door so that she wouldn't miss something or get late in finding something. She looked at her mom. Her beautiful mom. Her brown hair was tied up in a bun. And she was packing Naina's favorite mango pickle. Her little annoying brother. He was groaning.

"Ma, you never make my favorite pickle for me. That's unfair. Why every time she gets the advantage?"

Mrs. Sharma laughed and patted Aryan's cheek and said:

"Better luck next time"

Aryan crossed his arms in annoyance and sat down on the nearest chair heavily.

Naina was smiling to herself at the scene that was taking place in front of her. She glanced at the clock. 10:45 a.m. Fifteen more minutes. She sighed. She would be away from her home, from her family, from her friends.

After packing everything, it was finally time to leave. She was feeling really excited and nervous but when the taxi arrived and she was saying a farewell to her parents sitting in a taxi, leaving for college, she felt something heavy in the pit of her stomach. After saying a final goodbye to her family she said to the driver:

"Let's go!"

And off she was to Pearl engineering college in Delhi. The trip to her destination was a short one hour trip. Once she reached her destination she took a deep breath. Got out of the taxi. Took her luggage. Paid the driver. She moved towards the main gate. As soon as she got the first sight of her college, she was awestruck. The college in front of her was just magnificent. That was the first word Naina could think of to describe the campus she was going to live in for the coming the years. She was admiring the campus and moving when someone pushed her while moving and mumbled a polite 'sorry'

Naina huffed and looked at the guy weirdly. She lifted her luggage and moved forward. She decided to make her way to the notice board so that she could check out the room she was assigned and with whom she was paired with as a taxi roommate. After keeping her belongings in her room should go exploring the college building.

So here she was standing in front of the notice board where the crowd was so large that it was complete mayhem. Somehow she got her way inside and scanned the list. She spotted her name at the last spot. She was given room no.394. She checked for her roommate. There it was. The name of her roommate just above her name. It was none other than (a/n - yes all of you guessed it correct).
