Respect All Humans
Respect All Humans
It was social studies and political science lecture in college when teacher asked students about their opinions on people of any religion other than their own. Many students had the opinion that all religions should respect every religion. But Rushabh was quiet in his opinion. Other students were thinking why was Rushabh quiet as he was one of the most interactive students in the class! All left for home on the way home his friends asked him why was he silent when the teacher asked for opinions Rushabh said I don’t like to exchange my opinions between fake opinions! His friends asked what fake opinions? Wait and watch saying this Rushabh left from there.
The next day when everyone went to college Rushabh was seen sharing table with people of different religion so no one doubted that Rushabh hates any specific religion. So his friends were still thinking about what might be the reason behind his silence. With passing time his friends forgot the topic. A day friends were returning from home. They saw a poor boy sleeping roadside and started making unnecessary noise while passing from there and tried to trouble the boy. Rushabh ignored the situation. This repeated for 2-3 days and Rushabh kept ignoring. One day the boy woke up due to noise and was angry and tried to shout but the boys teased him for his dress up and financial condition and the poor boy was ashamed. Rushabh slammed them right there saying this is how you respect people of every religion?! What was his fault? Just that he is poor? You told me you to respect every religion than why did you do this? Even he belongs to some religion! Both friends looked at each other and replied he is of lower caste and respecting caste means just the major ones. Rushabh got angrier and told be firm on his opinion if you want to respect then respect religion higher caste or lower caste shouldn’t bother your opinion. And wait….! Why respect people of any religion just respect the person. Any other point shouldn’t be considered while serving respect. Just respect the person who comes in front of you be it a billionaire or a beggar serve equal respect.
Listening to Rushabh his friends apologized to that poor boy for that behaviour and took him for snacks with him and enjoyed a lot and realized happiness doesn’t come with rich or highest caste people it comes with a pure heart. And since that day both of them changed their opinion from respecting people of every religion to respecting every human.
