It was the first time, both of them met. They have met after this huge gap of complete two years.

"As I remember, the last time we interacted was during the last board exam I guess", she exclaimed, though trying to avoid making an eye contact but just to start the conversation this time as she knew what is this feeling, the hesitation.. they have now, those who used to scream out loud at each other's faces once, are now hesitant to even make their eyes drop at each other.

He murmured, naah I used to meet you every day, in my dreams after all... expecting her not to listen but nothing has changed, she did take notice of his murmuring lips and the same way tried to avoid making things awkward and asked if he said something..!

"Yeah! 2 years and 4 months to be exact!", He smirked.

She could not control the flow of emotions inside her heart of nervousness and happiness that he has been counting each day, she smiled, trying to overcome the grief and sorrow which sat deep in her heart and the feeling is mutual somehow, they both knew, same as the feeling of loving someone wholeheartedly but the fear of not getting acknowledged, they have faced.

The fear they had in their minds because of that society, those taboos of being from different cultures has now left through the windows of their open hearts after seeing the enrichment and trust of their love which has just enriched their souls with time. Neither the distance nor the mindsets could have been able to diminish the power of their trust and respect for each other.

And this time, no matter how long it has been, they did talk like their younger selves, with each other and they realized their friendship, okay....their bond that was 'much more than friendship' still persists and carries same care, respect and trust being the foundation of their love story..!
