One Night Story

I am a doctor, aged and a bachelor. Live with my dearest pet which is a cat and a servent, he is just like my guardian. Sometimes I visit the patient's house when they can't come to me or when the condition becomes very serious. At that time I charge to become hight. Still, the patient party calls me for a visit. I have my own clinic where I sit on a regular basis except Sunday. I have kept it only for myself to spend with my family and friends. Nowadays my health sometimes not well due to age.

It was a Friday when I got a call from one of my patient's houses, requested for visit to check the patient's health condition which was not going well. The patient was above 75 years old and I am treating him for last 5 years. They now become very close to me. I decided to a visit once. Planed was like to start in the morning from my home then I could reach in the evening. They are living in a village and the journey was around 12 hours. So, after finished breakfast started towards the patient's house with my four-wheeler. Kept dry foods and water. After a few hours I left the city and entered the rural areas, there were farming land both the sides and was driving in between it. I came here long back, cant remembered the exact road. I was driving fast because the sun had already shed, darkness has started cover everwhere. It was a wintertime. Suddenly one thing struck on my mind that might be I left the road where it goes to the patient's house. But was very difficult to remember at that time. Felt impatient, no one was nearer to me. Everywhere darkness and one emptiness was filled everywhere. I felt cold and anxious to reach on time to the patient's house and then return to my home. I came out from the car and was looking around for help. Stood for a moment beside my car and was thinking about the address. Suddenly heard one horse and crispy voice which came from behind. I turned and saw that one person might be 5'8" hight, lean, covered full body with a thin blanket and asked me that " who are you? Seeing you first time here, what are you looking for? Where are you going?" I was trying to ignore that person initially but later I realized that the place where I was stand was not pretty good and any big incident can happen with me anytime. So, I gently replied to him that I lost my address, I think I left it before. Asked him that if he can help me out from this difficult situation. He asked me the reason for came here. I explained everything and then he told me that go back from this road and turn left and then will get one farmer land, cross it and turn right where see one temple, take a right turn from there, will reach the destination. I thanked him and drove from the place. Finally, I reached the patient's house where one was waiting for me. I checked his condition which was not good. I gave him medicine which was with me. They were requested for a stay that night and arranged everything for me. On dinner time i told everything to them, they were shocked and told me that I was lucky where I returned with alive. On one use that road after evening time. It was a story that one farmer suicide due to the financial crisis, but after his death, the spirit is moving around the place. If anyone crosses that side by chance, anything happens with the person. The place becomes a horror. No one use that road. I stayed that night with the family and next morning i left the place and returned my home.
