Narendra - A Secret Patriot

Three months before the government of India declared demonetization of current currency, I, Ram, was struggling to find a good job.

After that day, one of my friend suggested me to work at a petrol pump station. As I have a graduate degree and also have experience of more than 2 years in the corporate world, Seeing the current financial situation of mine, I decided to try for the job.

The other day I went for the job. There I met petrol station owner ' Narendra'. He is 5ft 7 inches tall wearing a metallic watch and a lightweight spectacles.

He interviewed me and then assigned me as a 'Vice Manager ' position.

I learned from him many valuable lessons in the course of three months. He is always ready to serve customers and try to resolve queries and complaints then and there only. He was telling his friends that in my veins petrol is flowing instead of blood.

When the unexpected demonetization of currency declared nationally, he was well prepared on how to serve each customer patiently. He handled the many situations and also the frustration of customers due to demonetization. He is one who comes at 6.am at work and goes to home at 11.59 pm. He becomes my role model for me.

I saw him being very energetic at that time and I began to see a serious patriot in him who cares his nation more than anything.

He is proud of his nation and he serves his nation with full patriotism in a secret way.
