A huge explosion boomed at the rear of my sight. "Just when I was 'bout to take a sip," you said humourously. Although, I didn't laugh. I should have laughed though because that was the last joke I heard from you. In fact, you aren't even you anymore. You were Keith.... You aren't now. I looked at my hand in which you yourself handed a......pendant?. What they call a tech band. "Do you remember this?"

Your eyes stabbed me with the stones they held. Your reply was unbearable but ears don't stop listening, do they? "Sorry, ma'am, I don't". Your voice although was compelling, it didn't mean anything because you weren't speaking.

"This techband was the first ever thing that you gave me..... You said that whenever I needed you I could call you just through this. But.... But the thing is... I can't call you now because you don't exist. They dismantled your parts, and they screwed you apart for reasons I don't know. And I couldn't know. Because they didn't let me know. I was just handed with another piece of you, Keith. Do you remember any of it?"

My eyes watered up as I placed my cold palm on your metal cheeks. I tried to hold the waterfall but it just flowed through. I cried my heart out that night. Looking at the city of wonders, at the city humanity built just to get itself to the point of destruction. I felt so alone that night, so cold. And I knew that metal of all things wouldn't warm me up yet.....you hugged me... And I ... Just rested there in your cold yet tiny cozy arms. "You are there? Right? Keith".

"I don't know.....ma'am" the voice again was meaningless but your hug had a tad gravity to it this time. With the speed of 9.8 m/s², you hit me right where I wanted and I felt alive again just like when I met you on the bridge of eternity. I looked up to you as your glassy eyes shined through mine but...... they still pointed out that you weren't you anymore.

You were Keith. Now your stone-cold eyes burned my heart of metal.
