Marriage

Sonali had reached the marriageable age. Her parents had already started looking for a suitable groom for her.

Sonali always believed that marriages are made in heaven. Her belief was strengthened when her future husband Sandeep joined her office. Sonali worked in a bank as an officer. Sandeep belonged to the same caste as Sonali and their ancestral village was also the same.

Sonali liked Sandeep from day one and the latter too liked the former. After a few months of working together, Sandeep proposed to her. For Sonali, it was an instant yes. Their parents were more than happy as their children were already colleagues and now we're going to be husband and wife.

After matching their horoscopes and fixing a suitable date, their marriage was solemnized. And the couple went to Mauritius for their honeymoon, a place where Sonali had always dreamt of going. After returning back both resumed their work in the bank. However now they were husband and wife and not merely colleagues.
