Mahishmati Returns

Mahendra Bahubali and Avantika are reborn in the 21st century as Kartik and Shilpa in the silver city of Odisha, Cuttack. Kartik's parents have a three-star hotel in the heart of the city named Royal Galaxy. While Shilpa's parents run a restaurant named ' The Food Planet '.

Kartik and Shilpa study in the Stewart school from the beginning. Both are classmates.

Though Kartik did not remember anything about his life as Bahubali, Shilpa, however, has some indistinct memories of her past. A few days ago she happened to read a typical Stevenson case of Swarnlata Mishra, who was born in a small village in Madhya Pradesh in the year 1948. When she was barely three years old she began having vivid past-life memories of her life as a girl named Biya Pathak. She lived in a village which was a hundred miles away from her present address. She described that the house where she(Biya) lived in, had four rooms and was painted in white colour.

She could sing songs that she claimed she used to know in that life. She could also do complex dance steps that were unknown to her in her present life. Six years later she recognized some people who had been her friends in her past life. This encouraged her father to start penning down all that she said and he started searching for proof of her reincarnation. 

One investigator then visited the city which Swarnlata had related to and discovered that a woman indeed matched her description and had died nine years ago. Investigations subsequently confirmed that a young girl called Biya had certainly lived in exactly such a house as described by her, in that town. All this was amazing.

Swarnlata’s father took his daughter to that town and introduced her to the members of Biya’s family. As a test, Biya's family introduced some people who were not related to Biya. Swarnlata immediately identified these individuals as being imposters. And some details given by her of her past life memories were so vivid that all were amazed.

Shilpa also went through some more such real-life stories. These only made her believe more strongly that reincarnation really exists. Although she has indistinct recollections of her past life as Avantika, it does not matter much as this was many hundred years ago. Now their capital city Mahishmati has become present-day Maheswar. 

Kartik, whom she thinks was Mahendra Bahubali, is good friends with her. And now her focus is solely her 10th board exams, which she intends to pass with flying colours. And wishes to become a good doctor first. Kartik is also focused on his studies and wishes to become a civil engineer. And marriage would certainly take place if indeed they were reincarnations, as marriages are made in heaven. However they would marry each other in this birth as well or not, only time will tell!
