Love At First Sight

Who would have known that for the sake of me she would spend the rest of her life in darkness. How can she love a retarded man like me. I have learned to cry, laugh, walk like a man today in the society was all because of her. I remember it like yesterday the way her hair tickles me in the chin as I sleep in her arms. Her soft hands will even make the clouds melt at her touch. Her voice is so sweet it will make honey envy her. She sang to no one but me about the weather, flowers, hills and happiness. Her perfume made out of the most delicate flowers.

In my mind, I imagined her eyes to be big beautiful and sea blue, a small nose and two small lips in a slender oval face with flowing golden hair. She gave me the gift of life and friendship. She donated me her eyes to me so that I can see the world when I was 20 years old. The woman I could not see but imagined her to be nothing less to a goddess was completely opposite when I saw her. I realised I saw her sole which was pure. The only love that I know exists is love at first sight. I call her mother.
