Lost in Time
Lost in Time
As I settled into my train seat, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for the adventure ahead. I had always been fascinated with the concept of time travel, but I never expected it to happen to me. Yet, as the train chugged along, I began to feel a sense of unease. The landscape outside the window seemed unfamiliar and the trees were like none I had ever seen before.
As the train came to a sudden stop, I realized that something was wrong. The doors opened and I cautiously stepped out onto the platform, only to find myself in a completely different world. The sky was a deep shade of purple and the buildings were made of a strange, unfamiliar material. People walked around in strange outfits and spoke in a language I couldn't understand.
Panic set in as I realized that I had somehow travelled a thousand years into the future. I had no idea how to get back and no one seemed to be able to help me. As I wandered through the unfamiliar streets, I began to feel like I was being watched. The sense of unease grew stronger and stronger until I realized that someone was following me.
As I turned to confront my pursuer, I was confronted by a mysterious figure dressed in all black. They handed me a piece of paper with a single word written on it: "Run". And so I did. I ran through the unfamiliar streets, never knowing who or what was following me.
Days turned into weeks as I tried to make sense of this new world and find a way back home. Every corner seemed to hold a new danger, every person a potential enemy. I began to wonder if I would ever see my own time again.
And then, just as suddenly as I had arrived, I found myself back on the train. The landscape outside was familiar once again and the trees looked just like the ones from my own time. I was grateful to be back, but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. That someone, or something, was still following me.
