Loneliness

Travelling alone is her passion. She enjoys wandering with a camera and sketch pad, recording everything she sees. There is a lot more than nature’s bounty that comes her way.

“Are you writing a book? How do you spend afternoons alone, holed up in the hotel room?”

“I am developing the ambition to write one. I find human stories more fascinating.”

“More? Compared to what?” The housekeeping girl was not too educated, but curious.

“I happen to be an award-winning landscape artist. My work has been featured in top magazines. But I would like to write about other things that I observe … and more than all that, I want to be the protagonist in someone else’s story.”

“Hmmm… loneliness does this to tourists.”
