Lockdown: Heavenly Call

Yesterday, being asked about the changes during locked on period, I pondered over this thought and then realised the effect and impact of lockdown.

With so many years of the same routine, my mind and body had mechanically started following the same routine. Every hour, minute and second were fixed and decided. Every morning starts with a to-do list and ends with the same. Then suddenly some new phrases entered in our life: COVID-19 and lockdown, and then a big pause to our body turned machines.

This big pause brings a big halt to our mind and body. Initially, there was a feeling of boredom which was soon overcome by fresh air. Then gradually realised the beauty of rising sun, the charm of the bright moon and the music of chirping birds. Mind and body that have earlier become like a dump yard started breathing again.

Lockdown period does seem like a heavenly call to realise inner-self and inner voice. The duration of 3 months became like a blessing to my mind, body and the soul where you are only with you.
