Jenna's Amazing Pets.

Once, there lived a little girl called Jenna, with her parents and her pets in a tiny house. Since they were very poor, Jenna's father decided to leave the city in search of a job to feed his family. Days passed and weeks passed, but there was no sign of Jenna's father. The family had run out of all their money now. They were starving so Jenna's mother planned to sell their pet bunny, cat and birds to earn some money. Jenna, upset by this, cried to her mother to spare her pets, whom she loved a lot. Her mother, however, was sure to sell them the very next day. Jenna continued to cry endlessly to which her mother finally agreed but on a condition; she promised to not sell their pets as long as the family will have food to eat.

The next day as the mother was preparing for the sales, she was shocked and puzzled to see a fish, 3 carrots and a pile of grains on her kitchen counter. As promised to Jenna, her mother didn't sell the pets that day and they ate till they were full that night. The following day Jenna's mother found another fish, 3 more carrots and more grains in her kitchen. She spared the pets again and they slept with their stomachs full that night too. This continued every day until one day Jenna's mother finally decided to see who was keeping the food in her kitchen.

It was the next day now and Jenna's mother woke up earlier than ever and hid behind the shelf to see the person who kept food for them. To her surprise, she saw her pet cat returning with a fish in her mouth, after she had caught it from a river nearby. Then, she saw their pet bunny digging up their neighbor's vegetable patch and stealing their carrots. Later, she saw their birds secretly bringing some grains from outside.

Jenna's mother felt terrible for thinking about selling those amazing pets. She came running to her pets with tears in her eyes. She thanked them for bringing food and promised to never sell them. Jenna was very happy to hear this and so were her pets. They all lived together happily and waited for Jenna's father to return home soon.
