How Men Lost Their Tails
How Men Lost Their Tails

Early men were born with tails and had great difficulty in moving around as they used to tread on each other's tails. Once the Great God Kittung went to a crowded fair and looked around for some good tobacco. As he looked through the stalls, someone stepped on his tail. "Ouch... Leave my tail," screamed the Great God and fell headlong on a stone, breaking two of his teeth. Seeing him fall, everyone laughed. Kittung lost his temper and decided to teach them a lesson. In a fit of anger, he lifted his tail, swept it across forcefully and laid a curse on all mankind. The Great God Kittung's tail became the sago palm and the other men's tails became grass. From then on men never had tails.
