"How long is forever?

Sometimes just one second."

It has been aptly saying. For, it is those brief moments that capture glimpses of entirety in its sepia-toned frames. And on recalling, it brings forth those visuals without any apparent loss in intensity. Forever isn't a lie. One can never really wipe out those moments that one adorns the most. But then we delve deeper to bury them and eventually turn anonymous to their presence. And yet the anonymity appears to be enticing. It leaves a trail of redolence for the visage dazzles everything else out of sight.

It is the occasional torrent of tears that dampens the cemetery. Even after all these years I still can sense the dying embers within me. But how could it be? I had shut all the doors to my heart and cremated the memories long back. How could it still furnish the same warmth? As I walk down the memory lane, I smile at the inconsistencies. It had been a surreal escapade. The silent encounters, the unspoken words, the unnoticed gestures. But all of it got suppressed beneath the silence of ignored decibels.

Have you ever felt the comforting silence? Love, for me, is somewhat similar. Like the way, one could appreciate the beauty of a starry night, the seashore, the occasional drizzles at night, and more of such. This very essence allows you to adore a person for his rawness, rather than the unnecessary embellishments.
