Rambling towards the pond, Vaidehi was musing about her life in a metropolitan city, adorning herself with expensive jewelry. Her forehead started profuse sweating and her sun-kissed cheeks developed tomato-red rashes on the face, totally filled with a grimace as she started returning back.

Her brown- marbled eyes showed her a blurred way and her heavy aching legs portrayed a scissors gait when she slowly closed her eyes and fell down of exhaustion. The two beautifully painted green clay pots were on the unmetalled, spasmodic road in the form of pieces. It was then that she went to a nearby tree where she can sit upon and rest. Being unable to open her eyes, she took a nap as she became restless.

"Cleaaa..Cleaaaa...Cleeaa " there was a bird chirping loudly and that was the reason why the sleeping girl woke up startled. Then the newly coming bird from the egg caught all her attention. She was keenly observing the bird and its mother. The mother bird was so baffled and frazzled to see her progeny coming out. The baby bird was trying so hard to come out but was actually being unable to do so. Finally, it came out after facing a lot of difficulties and hid itself in its comfort place, mother birds wings

She was sure that her mom will scold or even beat her for the malfeasance of breaking the pots which they bought over a year ago in their village festival costing 600 each. Her mom believed in Vaidehi that she won't be breaking those mud pots and so she allowed that work to Vaidehi. But, that was not what happened in truth.

She started on her way home with nothing in her hands but she was still pondering about something! She reached her house in no time. Her mother saw both her hands and was confounded.

" Where are the pots, beta? " when her mom asked,

" Mmm-aa-mma, thh- ose pots ww-eea-rree broke-nn ." she stammered as usual.

" What are you talking vaidehi? broken? "

" hh-aa-nn ma-a"

In a fit of rage, she turned so belligerent, she just slapped on vaidehi's face after scolding her.

Vaidehi sat crying in the corner of the house. Thinking about that free bird she saw near that tree, she also thought to become a free bird. It's been long time now for her doing all the household stuff. So she hastened to her mother saying, " Mmm-aa, I want to ggg- oo to schooo-ool. I want tt-ooh study well. I waaa-nntt to become an eeng-inn-eer. I waantt to serve for the vi-ll-aaagee. I will buuy you a big houusee. I'll buy many glasses and kee- eep them in that house. Most immp-oorr-taant-liee, I'll build a ddaamm in our village. Then no other girl laaikke me will have to go 3 maailles from here to bring water. "

The mother was astonished by seeing her confidence as everyone in the village don t call her vaidehi but they often call her as HICHKI., as she has a habit of stammering. Her mom was happy to know her interest and on the other hand, she felt guilty for beating her.

Vaidehi proved her mom wrong. Mother is the only comfortable place for any child in this whole world., it was quite opposite for vaidehi. The biggest mistake of her mother underestimating Vaidehi's capabilities. Whenever the villagers commented on Vaidehi saying HICHKI, she would always be silent. And, this silence has turned into a weapon for the villagers and a doubt for herself whether her daughter will be able to achieve something further. She actually forgot to be a Mother with Vaidehi. A mother is the only person who can understand her own child's character completely. But here, that's not the case. The mother itself is doubting her daughter whether she'll be successful.

But, when Vaidehi told me that she wanted to go to school and study well, her opinion on Vaidehi just changed. Till that moment, she thought just about girl education but at that point in time, she thought for her daughter. She felt sorry for not actually understanding her. She smooched her and broke down.

Vaidehi's parents joined her in the School and she was happy going. She wasn't bothering about the people calling her HICHKI and she's just going forward to be successful in life.

Today, many Rajasthani girls are proudly going to school and not to a river or pond because of Vaidehi. She finally built a dam for the villagers and now she is one of the best civil engineers in India. She now constructed her abode and embellished a full room with pots made of mud.

"Hey, Aayush! Good news! My YouTube video got a MILLION likes... I'm so grateful to you for Einstein's Idea, haha" he came running to me.
