Heartening Moment

One fine Friday morning, I was in hurry for getting ready to office. Then a girl carrying all the luggage came into my hostel room with the warden, so me and my friend understood that she will be a new roommate in our 3 seater room. A quick introduction happened, we came to know that her name is Aadhya. We three rushed to the office and as usual a routine day passed on. After returning to the hostel from office a casual talk between three of us in which I came to know that Aadhya came to join in a job which will be a typical night shift one (timings: 6 PM to 4 AM) and she has to return from office @4 AM in the morning by walk as her office is 2 KM away from our hostel and no cab is provided by the company.

The very next day morning which we call the most relieving day, around 9 AM, the first day of our weekend, we three just opened our eyes and very much busy in checking our so called "mobile phone". Suddenly Aadhya said "Oh god, I forgot to call my dad to take him for breakfast." We asked "Is your Father still in Chennai?". She said "Yes, he will leave today" and phoned her dad immediately asking "Dad, you woke up or not?". For which we listened to a surprising heartwarming reply i.e., Her Dad said, "Yah Beta, I woke up @4AM itself and went for a walk up to your office premises and checked whether everything is good at that time for you, bathed and waiting for your call to take you for breakfast."

Whatever may be our age, whatever we become, whatever we achieve nothing matters to our parents. We are always their cute little pie whom they protect, care and love so much inspite of all the difficulties, hurdles in any situation. 

Please let's do an oath to ourselves to make time for our parents at least during the times they need our presence instead of saying an excuse that we were busy in office work, no leaves etc. etc...
