Happy Place

Remember those days when you cuddled down on my chest while the thunderstruck the sky. Remember how you chased butterflies and walked me through strange lanes and through life. Remember how you healed my broken heart and licked away all my pain.

Now you are just a photograph witnessing my grief and tears while I remember those happy years. I wish to see the paw on my chest before I surrender to my pain and meet you at a place where we will be happy again.
