Falling All In You...

It was a bright morning of June when Celeste woke up and a ray of sunshine hit her face wishing her good morning. She woke up with a very bright smile on her face until she realized that it was already 10 and she was late for her work. She rushed into the bathroom and came out in less than five minutes and after coming out she realized that her entire wardrobe was on the floor..... she had no time for searching so, she wore the same dress that she wore to a party last night. She looked up in the mirror and thought "I shouldn't have drunk so much yesterday, now my head is hurting like hell!" She was lost in her thoughts and that's when the cab she booked came by and started to the horn.

She ran and sat in the cab and left. Celeste was a 24 years old, very social and a sophisticated lady who worked as a book editor at "Redvelvet", a well-known book publishing company which was 20 blocks away from her apartment. When she sat in the cab she started thinking about her life which she felt was a big mess. She finally reached her office so she started walking towards her cabin and found her boss standing there already. "Good morning Deric! " she told. Her boss in a demanding voice told " I want you in my office in five minutes " and left. She was very nervous because Deric is very particular about his employees. She went into his room and he dropped a huge hard copy of a book and told: " I don't know how you are gonna do it but I want you to finish reading this book today and see if Redvelvet could publish it ". She took the book and murmured, " finish a book in a day, what does he even think".. Deric interrupted " I can clearly hear you, Celeste." She rolled her eyes and left.

She went and sat in her cabin with the book. She opened the book and saw the title "SPARKS: THE PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS" she smiled and started reading. The description of the book said- "Hi I am Ivan, this book is about the love of my life Diana.....whom I loved at first sight...!!" Celeste thought to herself "first sight? Interesting...". She resumed reading and kept going and out of surprise she finished reading the entire book in a single day. She closed the book and thought " such a beautiful book, I simply love it". On her way back home all she did was thinking, how lucky Diana was that Ivan loved her so much. She fell in love with the book. She wished she was Diana. She went home. She was about to sleep and she got a call from Deric, she answered the call and she started saying " I loved the book and yeah we should publish it Deric". Deric said, " We actually passed the book, Celeste, Susan thinks this book is too amateur and we can't take a risk, I'm sorry for wasting your day honey, sleep well!" Celeste felt heartbroken after that call. She couldn't sleep and felt very sad but she also knew that nothing could be done. She had to move on. This was the first time she felt so possessive about a book. Days passed and turned to weeks and weeks turned to months and Celeste got busy with her work.

6 months later...

It was a cold December morning, Celeste was in her cabin. She got a call from her boss. She went to his room and he handed her an envelope. She asked "What is this Deric? " He told " go on, open it."She opened it and found a ticket which read "Ticket to the release -SPARKS: THE PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS". She was extremely happy when she saw the ticket. He said " I know you loved the book. I booked the ticket so that you go there and buy yourself a limited edition version of the book, which is not going to be available after that night".She was very thankful to Deric.

She went home and realized that she didn't have anything good to wear. So she decided to go shopping the next day. She wanted to go to the new mall which was a little bit far from her apartment. So she took a sharing cab to the mall. She was waiting for the cab at a cab spot. The cab came so she got in. She couldn't put on her seatbelt as it was jammed. The man sitting beside her helped her. She couldn't see his face as he wore a hat. She told "Thank you." He took his hat off and smiled at her. She kept staring at his dimples. She couldn't believe her eyes. He was the most beautiful man she ever met. He had ocean blue eyes, blonde hair, and beautiful dimples. She got all numb in her legs. He looked at her and smiled again and told: "Hi, I am Edward". All of a sudden she started feeling like Ivan, the boy from the book, who fell in love at first sight. She thought to herself "No Celeste, love, at first sight, is just stupidity".She didn't realize that she was staring at him whilst thinking. Edward snapped his finger and told "Hello.. you alright? ". She flicked her head and told "I am sorry, Edward, nice to meet you..." He smiled and told, "You too". She tried very hard not to stare at him and was pretty good at it, but what she didn't know was, he couldn't stop staring at her and he felt the same way about her as she did. Edward asked the driver to turn on the radio and it started to play "chasing cars" which was considered the love anthem of the world. Love was in the air. It started snowing outside and both of them were lost in the song. She looked at him and caught him staring at her, he smiled and looked away. He asked her " Do you feel cold? I can ask the driver to increase the temperature..." She simply smiled and told, "I am fine, thank you". She wished she could stop the time. The driver stopped the cab and told " Mam, this is your stop". She didn't want to get down, he didn't want her to leave either. They both were hit by cupid. She was about to get down and he told " You didn't tell me your name...". She got down, turned towards him and told " Its Celeste". Their eyes met. The cab started off, they were still gazing into the eyes of each other. She wished she spent more time with him and he wished the same. She started to walk all alone in the snowfall and started feeling cold or maybe she started missing his eyes. Edward was sitting in the cab, thinking about her and her lovely smile. The radio started playing "Thinking out loud", which went "Maybe we found love right where we are...." He could still smell her perfume in the cab. He never felt this way before, like he misses a part of himself. The day went by and she finished her shopping and Edward reached his home. Edward and Celeste's secretly loved each other without knowing. It was like magic!

2 weeks later...

It was the day, the day for the release of "SPARKS: THE PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS". Celeste got all ready for this day. She wore a blue dress and looked amazing. She left the venue with her ticket. She reached there and sat down. She couldn't find anybody around, so she went to the reception and asked about the book launch. The receptionist told, "Sorry mam, but the event is over." Celeste told " But the tickets say it's not until 6 '. the receptionist answered, "We already messaged all the ticket buyers about this, didn't you get a message?" Then she realized that her boss bought her tickets, so he might have got a message. She blamed her luck and left home. On her way home, she checked her phone and saw a facebook friend request from "Edward styles". She went and checked the profile and saw that it was the same dreamy-eyed man from the cab. She accepted the request and sent him a message "Hey there, how did you find me?" The reply came back in 3 minutes. Ed replied, "hey Celeste, how are you?". This conversation went for a long time. Both of them were too shy to ask each other out. But finally, Edward realized that he shouldn't be wasting more time and messaged " You free tomorrow night?" Celeste could feel her heart beating faster. He was waiting for a reply. she typed "Yes" and sent it. He typed " Wanna join me for dinner tomorrow night"? she screamed "Yesssss! of course, Yesss" and typed " sure, why not?". He typed " Great, I will send you the venue and time, see you there." Both of them were smiling like idiots. Celeste and Edward were trying to sleep but both of them stayed up all night rereading their conversation.

The next day...

They had to meet at a French restaurant nearby at 8 o clock in the night. Both of them started getting ready. Edward was practicing in front of the mirror saying" Hey Celeste, Good to see you again", whereas Celeste was totally confused about what to wear and she finally decided to wear a red dress and left her hair open. I was 7 and celeste booked a cab and when she reached there at 7:30, she found Edward sitting there already. She was pretty nervous to meet him. He wore a black formal shirt and looked amazing. She walked towards him. It started to snow outside. the restaurant was windy and her hair was falling on her face. Edward saw her and gave a smile. She smiled back at him. The restaurant was playing the song " Perfect". She came to the table and sat down. He brushed her hair from her face to behind her ear. He told " You look amazing!" She told " You too". They couldn't stop staring at each other. They had their dinner. Edward told "I brought something for you". She asked, "Really, what is it"? He gave a gift-wrapped box. She asked, "What's this Ed?" He told "Come on, Open it".She opened it and her heart flew off to him. It was a limited edition book of "SPARKS: THE PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS". She screamed"Oh my God! How did you know that I love this book?" He told "Really, you've already read this book?" She said, "No, Not the edited version!"But how did you get this book, were you at the book launch event?" He laughed and told "Celeste, I wrote this book".After hearing that Celeste was shocked. She said, "Are you kidding me?" He said "Of course not, that's my book...wait let me show you, here , written by Edward styles ' me"He read out loud.

She was starstruck. He asked, "How did you read the book without even buying it?"She smiled and told, "I work for Redvelvet publications". He understood. They both laughed and thought that destiny brought them together. He dropped her back at her apartment in his car. While leaving he gave her a piece of folded paper and sat back in his car. When he started the car, she opened the paper, it said: "You are the Diana to my Ivan". She blushed and looked up and saw Edward smiling from the car. She smiled back. That's how this beautiful love story began........
