Do you believe in this 'Faith QUOTIENT'? Day-in and day-out this bleak voice echoes inside all of us, which get fuelled -up as news related to a pandemic is capturing space in our daily routine.

I personally feel a boost-up whenever I remind myself of this ancient fable. It runs this way, once a flight departed for its destined destination. There were passengers of all age groups. It took -off so smoothly that none of them could have the wildest thought of any mishappening. This flight had a newly-wed couple, who were riding in their fairyland as heading towards their first trip together. Next to them was a priest, who felt detached from worldly pleasures and was unflinchingly connected to his God. Few seats were occupied by a teacher and his winning team of twelve players. An old couple counting minutes after minutes with each breath as they were on this voyage to meet their grandson for the first time. Few businessmen also occupied seats in this flight but the center of attraction was a little girl, sitting with her doll near the window, she was least affected by people and noises. Only clouds outside the window could capture her attention a bit.

As the journey unfolded few more miles, the smooth sailing was clouded with thunderous sounds and turbulence, causing the plane to bounce around. A wave of fear and insecurity filled there. The happiness of new-wed vanished into tears of losing life, the faithful bond of the priest failed to bind him with Him. His life-long preaching was at stake now. Teams-spirit took an ugly face as this phase was never welcomed. Announcements were made again and again to trust as the pilot of the plane was trying to defeat the undefeatable. The weather by now unveiled to show its ugly face and was yielding to engulf everyone.

In this unfruitful fight for life, the priest noticed that the little girl is neither disturbed nor affected rather was as playful as she was at the beginning of the journey. So, he couldn't stop himself to ask her, " Child, are you not afraid of death?" This plane is under horrible turbulence, still, you are holding courage and your smile hasn't fed away? The little girl replied innocently, "My father is the PILOT of this flight, so I know, come what may, my father will save me." After observing the sparkling faith in the eyes of that little girl made the priest realize, yes My Father is the PILOT OF LIFE for everyone, so, why fear rather than let the Fear have Fear with our Faith-Quotient.

This is what we all need to remind each other that He will surely make us sail through this storm of Covid-19, this turbulence will surely stop. Let's hold firmly the strings of Faith and face this testing phase.
