Table turned its side after this incident. Really, it’s a miracle. Probably Its’ destined to bring out from the misery. Every incident that puts a deep impact on our chest is predestined.

Summer is about to stroll. Holidays are supposed to come, heap of expectations, bundles of planning on how to spend our vacation. In the meantime, we received a call from my hubby’s bosom friend to visit Mount Abu together. In his lines, he mentioned that he got the conformation for our week’s stay in the Prajapati Brahma Kumari Ashram.

Well, no idea about the organization, not much knowledge about the ashram’s life pattern still I agreed instantaneously the plan worked out and our journey started. We boarded train for Mount Abu.

Surprisingly when I mention my visit to Mount Abu, my co-passengers started saying – You will be visiting the paradise-Paradise on Earth, quite a strange feeling started crawling within me.

Finally after 30 hours of journey from my place, we reached the destination. My daughters were quite young to bear the exhaustion. Yes! The journey’s tiredness gripped me and my hubby as well but we were not supposed to express infront of kids. When our taxi reached the ashram, I don’t know how all my tiredness vanished in a blink. I was mesmerized with its soothing atmosphere, filled with tranquility. All those huge lanes, the architectural structures were perhaps singing of the divine presence.

After allotment of our respective rooms, we decided to attend the week-long seminar about the divinity.

Though my daughters weren’t able to understand and sink in those words, still they managed to sit and my thoughts were always concentrated on them. I couldn’t focus much but I realized something was happening to me-a a pleasure, which is beyond explanation.

The exchange of eyes which they say they were passing their blessings through it were quite magical.

My entire seven days passed so quick and I returned, carrying a heart full of peace and serenity.

All of a sudden my dad passed away. Controlling Mom was quite a difficult job. Her mood swings and depression always used to pull me down. In the spur of the moment, I couldn’t think of anything else except to take mom to the Brahmakumari Ashram. I took her to the nearby center. As soon as y mom entered there, she started liking the place and could visualize my father smiling at her. She decided to visit everyday for Murali. Both mummy and me joined the Rajyoga classes. Everyday I used to household ordeal and rush to pick up Mummy for the class. On the last day of the session, I was a bit late. When I picked mummy, she said let’s not go today. But anyhow I convinced her to proceed for our last session.

The sisters of Brahmakumari ashram as usual friendly, cordial in their approach, offered us Prasad and we returned.

Mummy was insisting me to take lunch (which had become a regular process by then), but I returned to my place and found out the door was locked from inside. I thought it could be my hubby because my daughters were already at school, since he always has duplicate keys with him.

After my repeated door bangs, when the door didn’t open, I tried to push the door. I was feeling a houch-pouch inside the rooms. I started screaming for help. I cried out. All of a sudden, a crowd assembled in front of my house, banged the door open and rushed inside. Before I could think, I saw hundreds of people inside my place. When I reached inside, I found everything in a mess.

The windows shield was broken, it seemed more than two people were inside and the intruders rushed out with the help of the window railings by breaking them apart. The crowd gathered started weaving spicy stories in a loud voice, which was boiling my chord to utmost anger and depressing. I started cursing me and my fate –because it all happened due to my absence.

All the things were scattered on the floor. Clothes were thrown here and there, locks were broken, sanitary fittings were not present, water gushing out from the pipes and I found my daughter's belongings being disturbed. I was speechless because all my valuables were present in the steel almirah and the keys were kept nearby. I called my hubby in the verge of desperation that year-long valuable belongings were stolen. After half an hour when he reached, I was alone in my house, crying out of pain. He started looking for the keys. Astoundingly he found out that the lockers weren’t broken. Our valuables were safe, which I hadn’t noticed previously. All those were gone, weren’t much valuable in comparision to these.

When this came to my mom’s notice, she said since we had been visiting God’s place, he protected me. Anything could have happened that day.

My nerves still could feel the bouts of shiver when this incident lingers in my thought.

Really it was God who saved my life.
