Everything For Him - Part 21

Everything For Him - Part 21

Once in my room I crashed and didn't wake up until the next morning. I got up, did my morning routine, without lotion, make-up, or quite frankly almost anything and got ready for the day. I washed out my underwear in the sink and hung them up on the shower rod to dry out.

I didn't get much time to explore the designs for Jayanth's house the night before, so I pledged to put that on my mental list of goals for the day. My first thought when Jayanth asked me to be the interior designer for his home he reminded me of my dream to become an interior designer.

My second thought was that I am going crazy because these days I am thinking a lot more about Jayanth. He was the best person I've ever met in recent years. I think I always knew from the moment I met him, something wasn't right. Part of me was already gone and he had already taken it. Whenever I just think about him my heart starts racing faster like never before.

Dear heart, please stop getting involved in everything. Your job is to pump the blood not the feelings. That's it. I reprimanded my heart. Better I will start working on preparing the designs.

I unzipped my handbag and took out the building plan that Jayanth gave me and made note of all the dimensions of the room. I then opened my laptop and launched the software application. I first started with the kitchen and in an hour I could build two designs and visualized them from all angles. Finally, I am done with the design of the kitchen part.

Incredible! I exclaimed to myself after looking at the final design of the kitchen. It's a word that I don't use very often. As far back as I can remember, I've only associated the word incredible with one person and that was Raghav. To me, the word incredible is a very powerful word not to be used lightly and of course, Jayanth is also an incredible person.

My inner voice keeps asking questions and then it stops and undertakes to answer in the same tone of voice which says - Your life is not in your hands and life is unpredictable. I marvel at how these conversations start inside of me without any conscious control, and then engage the senses, only half-meaning to. And then there is no choice, and then there is no sense until a name and all its connotations are the same.

Time has moved so far from me, unknowingly I spent ten years of my life in loneliness and it is not hurting me anymore. I don't know how far I have reached in my journey to find my destiny. But Anjanai uncle told me that your dreams are just a part of your destiny and when you embark on a journey to find your destiny, you will fulfill all your dreams on the way. If that's the case, then is my destiny tied up with Jayanth? No! What a foolish person I am? I am a kind of a bad-luck charm and I don't want to ruin his life.

I then turned on the television and was just scrolling through the channels one after the other and in that process, I happened to see a flash on the screen with the name 'Chaganti Koteswara Rao'. It was the same name that Sandhya told me the day before in the office. I froze the channel and placed the remote aside. He explained very wonderful stories about destiny taking some examples from Ramayana, Mahabharata, Vedas, and the Upanishads.

One point has fascinated me more than anything and that is 'sometimes we could be the person needed to unlock someone else's destiny and sometimes we need another person to unlock our destiny'. The image of Jayanth flashed in my mind at that same point in time.

Many say that this world is abundant with a plethora of experts and mentors. In order to find your destiny, one has to approach the person who has fulfilled his or her destiny. But who in my circle has found their destiny? Sandhya, she will keep jabbering something, and apart from Sandhya?

Eureka! It's Jayanth. Since Jayanth is a millionaire. So maybe he can help me in discovering my destiny. But how can I ask him? I will better do one thing. I will try to complete all the design plans by today and I will try to have a discussion with him tomorrow. Since these things can't be discussed in the office he will have no objection to coming out and then I will utilize this opportunity to request his assistance in finding my destiny.

I picked up my laptop and got to my desk to begin my work. In two hours I completed the design parts for the first floor. I took a short break of one hour to have my lunch and kept myself busy in designing the second floor. But I could see a lot of space, approximately the size of an SUV not utilized completely. I made slight changes in the second-floor plan and designed a small meditation room. It looked damn amazing. I don't understand which architect has given him this kind of a plan? The entire work was done by 05:35 P.M. Jayanth requested to get it completed in a week but I just made it in a day.

Later on, I shut down my laptop and glanced at the calendar on the wall. Oops! Today is January 15th, the day I got married to Raghav. Those moments are still fresh in my mind. As I closed my eyes and replayed those wonderful moments of my first night with Raghav and that first kiss was so memorable and so awesome that the magic cannot be recreated. First shall always remain eternal and the very first feeling gives the ultimate experience which cannot be erased as long as our heartbeats.

I still remember that night of my wedding, Raghav surprised me with a gift - a set of gold earrings studded with emerald stones. I looked into his eyes and he stared deep into mine. He then rushed into my arms tightly. Emotions and feelings reached a pinnacle. Like a high tide had come rushing to ashore! Love was ignited and found the moment of intimacy.

The magical moment was arriving. Soon, no boundaries remained between us. Our hearts pressed against each other began racing faster. We could hear each other's throbbing hearts and our exciting breaths helped us melt into each other, becoming one.

'You are so beautiful,' Raghav whispered into my ear as he nibbled my earlobe.

I signaled him to bring his face closer to mine. He leaned forward and planted a kiss on my forehead and then on my lips. I kissed for the first time in my life. I could feel he had bottled up his desire too. His lips refused to leave mine. Our tongues touched. I lost track of time, space, and orientation. I had seen kisses in the movies and I never imagined what my first kiss would be like. But this was better, better than anything I had seen or imagined.

He placed his hand on my breast, over my dress. He wanted to slide his hand in but couldn't. I would have had to remove the entire fitted dress to give him access. I pushed back his chest. He removed his trousers and I had not seen a naked man so up-close. He moved up and kissed my collarbone, then my chin, and then on my lips for several minutes.

Who the hell is calling me now? My mobile started ringing all of a sudden pulling me out of the trance. I opened my eyes and took the mobile into my hand.

OMG! It was a call from Jayanth. I immediately tapped on the answer icon.

'Hello, Ananya! I am extremely sorry to call you on a holiday. I just wanted to know if this is the right time to have a talk,' Jayanth said.

'No issues Jayanth. Please proceed,' I said to him.

'I have a small request for you. If possible can you complete the interior design by next week?'

'Do you have any problems if I can submit it by tomorrow?'

'What? Are you serious?'

'Yes Jayanth, I already completed it. If you want I can submit it by tomorrow.'

'Ananya I literally need to search the dictionary to find a synonym for fantastic and fabulous. For time sake I will compress it to fantabulous.'

'Thank you Jayanth it was indeed my pleasure to be able to assist you.'

'Ananya, if you don't mind can you come out for dinner tomorrow?'

'Yes, Jayanth!' It came out instantly.

'Actually, I am extremely busy in the day hours that's why I am asking for dinner and don't worry I will pick you and drop you at home.'

'Sure Jayanth.'

'Once again thank you so much Ananya and I will call you tomorrow evening. Bye.'

'Bye Jayanth.'

Once he was a stranger, a boss yesterday, and the first client for my company which is not yet established. In case if he likes the design, I will quit the company and start my firm soon. Of all paths that I had come across in my life, I have always chosen the wrong one. Be it a marriage, job, or anything. Quitting the job and starting a business is the riskiest thing in this universe. I don't understand whether I have to fulfill my dream or find my destiny.

My dear God, why did you create this so-called destiny? I don't know where you stay in this vastness of the universe, but one thing is certain, you are so far from me and invisible to humans. Can you please let me know what my destiny is and where can I find it?
