DREAMS??
DREAMS??
Ansh was not an extraordinary boy; just a simple boy with ordinary intelligence, but then things happened, things too complex for a boy of 8 years of age to comprehend. His father ran away with another woman leaving his mother, three sisters and him alone to suffer. His eldest sister, who could understand the pain, committed suicide as a result of the shock. And then the usual hardships of living a life with less resources, with a single mother and two sisters. His mother didn't have the courage and the strength to file a case in the court of law against his father. In such a situation there was one thing he couldn't afford to do..dream, something for which he would want to die for.
Well he did have a dream when he was five years old. He wanted to become a pilot and fly those huge metal marvels, a dream which almost every kid has. But then he did find a dream, an actual dream. After all the misfortunes that had fell upon him and his family the only thing that he could feel completely was the absence of his beloved sister. The truth was that in her presence he didn't even feel the need of a mother. Such was the pain that he decided to become a doctor in memory of his sister who herself wanted to become a doctor and was doing her graduation in medical sciences when she killed herself. Living that dream, Ansh spent seven years in school till he completed his high school. But life wasn't going to be easy on him. He realized that his mother wouldn't be able to afford the expenses of a medical college. The biggest irony was that it took him two years to realize what he had done when chose engineering as his future.
He didn't blame anyone, he couldn't. He knew how much his mother had suffered and he respected her for that. Now he had started dreaming of becoming a great engineer for the love and respect that he had for his mother. But he could never crack the IIT exam. However hard he tried he just couldn't. Reality had hit him hard on his face and he hated himself for that.
With no option left in front of him he asked one of his sisters to give direction to his life, to give him dream again. She suggested him to go for legal studies. He had no alternative so he started preparing for law entrance examinations. But again he couldn't crack the main exam. Luckily he had filled the admission forms of some other colleges and he managed to get into one of those.
After a lot of contemplation he came to a conclusion. He wanted revenge from his father. He wanted to do something that his mother couldn't do and law seemed to be pretty helpful for him follow his dream. Even though he never liked legal studies in the past, the prospect of getting revenge was a great source of motivation for him to work hard. He had started liking what he was studying. Then one night while he was preparing for a test in jurisprudence a question just popped into his head,"did YOU ever have a dream for which you would die for?" His test didn't go well....
