Dragon Who Didn't Breathe Fire

In the dark and scary forest walked a baby dragon. His head hung low. Big fat tears fell from his eyes. He curled up under a huge tree and fell asleep sobbing.

The sun was shining brightly. The baby dragon was snoring loudly. Dots the giraffe was up early and munching on leaves from a tall tree nearby.

Suddenly Dots heard a loud grumble. Dots turned around and saw a baby dragon rubbing his eyes and waking up. There was another loud grumble. It was coming from the baby dragon’s stomach!

“What brings you here little dragon”, asked Dots.

“I ran away from home”, said the baby dragon sadly.

“I’m Dots the giraffe. Come to my home in the forest”, said Dots smiling.

“What your name”, asked Dots.

“Fireo… but I can’t breathe fire”, cried the baby dragon sadly.

“Come let’s go and eat something. You must be hungry”, said Dots taking little Fireo home.

“Meet our new friend”, said Dots to his other friends, Stripes the Zebra, Boo the Monkey and Trunky the elephant.

All their friends said hello to Fireo and welcomed him home.

Boo got food and all of them began eating and talking.

“What’s that smell”, said Trunky swaying his trunk round and round.

“Something is burning”, shouted Boo.

Trunky pushed his trunk out of the window and yelled, “It’s coming from the forest”.

All of them looked outside the window.

The green forest had become orange due to the huge flames of the forest fire.

“Oh my God what do we do”, cried Stripes.

“Let’s try and spray water and call the forest guards”, said Dots.

Trunky ran to the lake and took a lot of water in his trunk. He then sprayed it like a huge fountain towards the forest.

Stripes called the forest guards.

Fireo also followed Trunky and began drinking lots of water.

Fireo took a deep breath. Suddenly the whole forest was wet by the shower of water Fireo had made.

The fire stopped burning the forest.

“That was awesome Fireo”, said all the friends clapping.

A Cheetah and a Lion arrived. “We are the forest guards”, they said.

“Thank you Fireo for saving the forest”, said the Cheetos the Cheetah and Simba the Lion.

“Why did you run away from home when you are so talented Fireo?”, Dots asked Fireo.

“In dragon land, I was made fun of as I couldn’t breathe water but showered water”, said Fireo.

“But that’s something to be proud of”, said Stripes.

“Because you are different you saved the whole forest today”, said Cheetos.

Everyone gave Fireo a hug.

“Here is your award Fireo”, said Simba.

“Will you join the forest patrol and help us put out forest fires?”, asked Cheetos.

“Yes, yes, yes!”, danced Fireo happily.

This news traveled to dragon land. Everyone was now very proud of the dragon who could not breathe fire.
