Defending Stray

They were opposites but---fate had different plans for them.

She liked pizza; he loved desi-ghee rotis. She preferred restaurant-cooked food; he adored maa ke hath ka khana. She hated dogs, he adopted two of them. Once she saw a stray being beaten mercilessly by a fat man in her tiny neighborhood of New Delhi and felt angry. And within the next few seconds, she saw her mortal enemy, Ram saving that stray. Her heart melted, and it was happily ever after.
