Days in Lockdown-1

Dear Diary

It has been days since the imposition of lockdown in the whole country but fortunately, it hasn't caused a lockdown in the sharing of emotions between us. Honestly, it sucks to be at home for so many days- no hangouts with friends, no eating out, and no cinema visits but it has been rightly said that there are always two sides of a coin.

The other side of the lockdown has been very productive for me. It has taught me that the people who live with me in my house twenty-four by seven are my FAMILY a feeling that I was not able to understand until this lockdown(call it my bad) and what it feels to spend time with them. It has taught me that no matter what happens the only people that will stand with you are your family members. All these years I just curtailed my responsibilities towards my family in the name of school stress which I acknowledge to the flawless 'Indian Education System'- the Indian Education System for all these years has only taught me one thing that all it matters in life is to score well in exams even if it is at the cost of your happiness, your family, your creativity and all those things that make you love yourself. So, in a nutshell, this lockdown has proved to be an eye-opening experience for me. It has taught me things that my school life has not taught me for 14 years as of now. This lockdown has proved to be more of a teacher for me.

The good thing that I want to tell you is that I have been trying my hand at new things- areas that I have never explored before. I guess now the time tells me to bid you goodbye. I'll tell you more about it when I see you tomorrow.
