D.A.S.H Unnamed Series: A DASH

She sobs every second. "Why is it that everyone seems to be doing just fine in their lives – having goals, dreams to pursue, a purpose of living?" she wondered as she tried to sleep for the 3rd time. Rain began pouring densely with deafening thunderstorms outside her gloomy room as if they both had canvassed this earlier! 

The brightness of her room's tube light was enough to put her eyes out; she sluggishly thought as she heard her mum rebuking her – "Raya!! Till when are you planning to embrace your pillow? It's already 9." Raya was pronto reminded of what she said the day before.

"I spent my blood, sweat, and tears on these tests. Ma-Pa! I even sacrificed my sleep too! You know?" They nodded in agreement which made her smirk a little. "So, I'm determined I ain't going to waste time sleeping; instead, I'll do everything to make up for everything that I missed last week!" Her mum was standing on the opposite side with an entirely offbeat idea. "You aren't waking up early tomorrow! Do you get me?"

But, the sun was already in its place, which irritated her because she slept late! Sensing the clock running, she hopped out of her bed to start yet another day of her adrift life. She walked towards her closet, and with her scratched hand, she opened it. After rummaging for hours, she found what she was looking for. "Raya! Come down! Lunch's ready!" Mrs. Denis shouted. "She had a lot on her mind nowadays, it seems. She has started it again!" Mr. Denis broodingly said. "What? She has- when? Why?" "I saw her last night when I was going to the kitchen for a glass of water. I saw her…doing that."



Epilogue – 

Raya is a splendiferous, sweet-looking high school student who's the daughter of a renowned doctor in Maliac, Dr. Denis, and her mother, Mrs. Denis. She has everything a normal teen girl would ever need, but she's a past that she never wants to unveil. Something that even her parents don't even know about.
