Coorg and The Driver

My husband and I went to Karnataka for a vacation. We planned a trip to Coorg that is called Scotland of India. As we live in a city called Chandrapur in Maharashtra that is also called hottest city in Rigid Area in India and the city is also known as Black Gold City. So we planned to visit a beautiful hill station so we went through train from Ballarpur to Bangalore mean while my husband hired a taxi so that we can easily explore Coorg and Mysore as well. So our driver called us at morning 6:30 we were like so happy, we thought he is very punctual so Bangalore came we went outside the Railway station, we called him and he was standing there. So we sat in the taxi.

It was around 7:30 am and we were hungry. So we asked him if he knew any better restaurant for breakfast. He did not say anything and after 10-20 minutes, he stopped the car and said it is a good restaurant. You can eat here. So we ordered upma, idli and coffee. It was like ok. So a waiter came and asked whether your driver bill should be added or not in your bill. We were surprised as the company from which we hired the taxi cleared that the food expanses are included in the amount that we are supposed to given. So why should we pay extra charges for his food. So we said no to the waiter. So we have done the breakfast and went to the car and sit.

After that after ten minutes, a petrol pump came, he stopped the car and asked us for the rupees. We were like so frightened of him as that was just the starting of our tour and he was asking more than half of the amount which was decided. We hired him for 4 days. What if as we paid him that much amount that he was asking to pay us and as if he left in between our trip after paying that amount we thought. So we called customer executive and told them the problem. So they said that give him half of that amount. That was also the big amount on the very first day we gave him half amount after that he remained silent in the car. He told us nothing about the places we went on 1st day as we planned to explore Mysore.

So after in between we were going to some place we asked him to on the Car AC and asked him to reduce the temperature, so he did not like that and we din’t know what he is thinking?He shook his neck and reduce the temperature. He was so disgusting and after that we just got disturbed. We were not happy with the car driver at all. So we reached hotel. Meanwhile he did not tell even a single thing about Mysore or Bangalore. We were new for that place and eager to know something about the beauty of this place. We did not like him at all now and even hated him. This was our very bad luck of that trip that we hired him. When we reached our hotel, he stopped his car before the hotel the hotel entrance. My husband was like what he is doing? He should stop his car in the front of the hotel entrance only. We just saw each other and left the car and went to the hotel.

We felt better as in our hotel we do not need to see his serious face at all. After that we rested for sometime and got ready to explore Mysore. The weather was very pleasant. So we called him to come. We were hungry so as the place is friendly for him. We asked him for a good restaurant and he said rudely all the restaurants are nice. We were like why we hired him? So my husband checked the rating of the restaurants on Google and in the end we went to a restaurant. The food was average neither good nor bad. After that we asked him where we should go now. We should go to the local market first to buy souvenir for the family members. So he said no, you should visit the zoo. So as we were new for that place, we agreed and went to the zoo. The zoo was amazing I have never seen Anaconda, Python, Lion, and Giraffe in my life. The zoo was very vast. We loved the zoo. We took some photographs there also. But our legs were like no more.

But we had that day only because after that day we were going to Coorg, which was our destination. So he suggested us to visit Mysore Palace. Even we also heard about that Palace. So we went there, that was very huge and so we were so tired. But somehow we collected all the strength and visit that Palace. It was good. After that we called him. He never smiles he was so serious. Even we cannot talk to each other in front of him. He was so rude. In car, I was felling uncomfortable, so I opened the car window, so he was making faces why i opened the car window and switched off the A.C. my husband was like she opened the car window only for sometime, why you turned off the A.C.? He said, so please close the car window first. We were so irritated by him.

So finally we reached Coorg. Coorg was a beautiful place. I loved the place. So there we asked about must visit places so he answered like pappy farms, sunset point, etc. but first of all we need a resort. So he told us few names. But we were confused as they were very expensive. So my husband checked resort online. We decided to stay in Purple Palm resort. In the evening we decided to roam over the beautiful city. But he said rudely this is not the correct time. All places are closed now. We were like we do not want to visit the places now, as we were tired as well. We just want to go through this city. He was not happy that time. And after that we returned to resort.

After that we went for dinner and then we were roaming around the resort and then I decided to decorate the room because that night was my husbands birthday so I requested the resort staff for room decoration and really they were like so good and very helpful they just told me that we will be doing that for you. I was like so happy that time and they really decorated our room very beautifully and so well and their chef made a beautiful cake for us. Then my husband and I celebrated his birthday. After that night in morning we roamed around Coorg and after that we decided to leave because my husband and I cannot tolerate the Driver anymore so we checked out our room and took the lunch and headed towards Bangalore.

After we reached Bangalore we went to the hotel where our room booked by my husband after that my husband is giving his payment so by mistake my husband gave him full payment instead of giving the remaining amount. Suddenly I saw and heard about payment and told my husband that we have already given half of that amount why you are giving him extra? And after that moment my husband took remaining amount from him and he was like what happened and after that he asked us for remaining four rupees too. After that my husband told him that he don’t have change just keep it with you. We don’t know what happened to him he just stopped and gave six rupees change and went. We were like what kind of guy he was. We can only say that he ruined our trip. I never had this kind of driver in my life.
