Bright Colours Now Faded

Bright Colours Now Faded

I have been thinking about this for a while now. Bright, beautiful colors we see during our festival, Holi, depicts one of the most important aspect of our life, ie. friendship. You all must be acquainted with the saying "bura na maano holi hai". The enemies of enemies become friends during this festival its undoubtedly, a beautiful feast of love, colours and happiness.

But why does it happen that once so lively and bright colours get faded so quickly? Why don't they remain bright forever?

Why does it happen that once so good and lively friends become strangers down the years? Is a career, money, above friendship? Why are people so self - centred nowadays? Why don't they keep their friendships irrespective of what height they attain in life with respect to their careers and growth?

It hurts me when I think about my once so-called friends who didn't even bother to keep in touch once they were on their career growth path. We tend to forget our friends when we are in a running spree in our career paths. But when we are on the road downwards at some point in life, then the series of regrets start in life.

In the end, what will you get? All this money and awards is temporary. Only pure friendships and love are permanent which stays till last.

Thanks to this lockdown that made me realize that beautiful, vivacious, bright colours do fade... Yes..!! They do fade..!!!
