Boarding Passes

Whenever I see my friends with their grandparents, I always wondered when I would meet mine.

Actually when my parents were married, 3 months before marriage, papa was offered a job from Dubai and so he and mummy came to Dubai.

So basically my birthplace is Dubai.

Since my birth we haven't been to India, only my father used to visit India on his vacation and on any house marriage too.

We used to stay in Dubai as we were having our schools and other stuff.

I always missed the poems, stories, champis and other stuff enjoyed by my mother in her childhood.

Whenever my friends used to recall their time spent with their grandparents.

And the food, marriage they enjoyed with theirs Granny's I always wished when I'll get one such to enjoy.

I wanted to enjoy each and every moment and so I had decided this time I'll ask for a trip to India and to my grandparents as my birthday present.

15 days prior.

My birthday is a month away, dad.

Aren't you giving any presents?

Yes baby, ask what do you want.

Dad, I was thinking, can we get a trip to India?

I wanna enjoy the grandparents love and care.

India , but you won't be able to survive there, you are habitual to Dubai. Noor.

I will and can survive, it's the matter of will.

And I will to go India and have the love of Indians and not of Dubai.

Dad, please it's my birthday present.

But, Noor. It's not that easy for you to survive.

Say it clear, Dad, that you aren't interested in making us a trip in India.

Noor, see child what I bought for you.

Here, see it is our boarding pass,we are off to India by 30th September.

Really, dad, I'm super excited thanks dad, I love you.

Pack you bags child, fasten up , we have just 14 days to go.

Yes, dad, I'll start by today itself.
