Beat The Fear

Reena was a small girl. She was very sincere and lovable to her family and friends. She was good at studies but always afraid of mathematics.

In one examination, she got the least marks in mathematics subjects. All her friends teased her a lot. She came home and cried badly in front of her mother. Her mother wiped her tears and asked about the matter. Reena told about her marks and the fun that friends made of her.

During this time, Reena's father returned from the office. He also got to know everything from her. Then he told Reena, "see my dear daughter, why are you crying?" I will definitely not scold you about the marks. But yes, "I will ask you a question, why are you not practicing mathematics?" Reena told, "Papa, I am afraid of it". His father laughed and said, "Is it a tiger or a lion?" It is just a subject. And if you will fear something, it will make you afraid more. So, forget all these things. Mathematics is a very interesting subject and moreover it is important and like solving a puzzle. Isn't it so curious?"

Reena smiled, his father taught her and told her to practice it every day. Reena did so and gradually mathematics became interesting for her. She started enjoying the subject and in the next examination, she secured good marks.
