Announcement

Dear Mom, 

Just hold your breath till you read to the end. I have an announcement to make. Don't be shocked, don't be judgemental, it's my decision, right or wrong, I will live by it.  

Do you recall when you visited last year and kept pestering me if was dating? I responded saying I was not ready for settling down with a person and no I was not in a relationship. But that was a lie so as not to raise your hopes on your daughter finally deciding to marry.

Well now I know I have found the right man. He's from Harvard, an academician like I am. We found many things in common, though he is from a different race and continent. We have decided to marry in June, so start preparing for an Indo American wedding. Now does that make you a happy mom. Love you!
