An Obsessive Admirer

In the strange world of the Mermitians- the smoky, jelly-like shaped creatures, Charu’s interaction with them at once clears all doubts regarding her rebirth from her mind. She is now well aware of the purpose of her life - an accomplishment of past life’s incomplete task. She has to rescue the stuck Mermitians and send them back to their planet Antrina as early as possible. She asks their leader the mantra that can transport them to their original abode. 

Oh! No. Sheryl has never shared the holy words with anyone as it is sacred and not to be chanted loudly. 

In the present life, Charu has forgotten the mantra. She is clueless about how it is to be chanted. How to perform the noble deed? She shares her worries with the leader and he too looks tensed. He utters, “Mantra is written at the hand of Khopesh which is in the custody of Vincent right now.”

Charu asks, “Why uncle Vincent hasn’t told me about the trapped Antrinians. What is his motive behind it? He knows from the very beginning about my past life, but he has always cooked stories and tries hard to keep me away from knowing the reason for my mental anxiety. He lies that the lake is haunted and elopes with the sword to Egypt. His elopement to Egypt is a clear indication that he is not in the mood of returning the sword for the rescue operation.”

The leader replies, “Vincent is a Zygote king and is reluctant to leave this planet since the day he has arrived here. When the goddess summons us, she announces clearly that in only a few days we’ll be on Earth to gain knowledge of the planet so that we can include new interesting features in our rocky world which is a lava world and life is in form of jelly. Vincent is amazed to see this green world and completely gets lost in its beauty. The beautiful landscape steals his heart. Sky touching snow-capped mountains, the unending spread of blue water bodies, fountains, waterfalls, greenery all around, blooming of colourful flowers during Spring and falling of water drops during the Rainy season compels him to be the resident of this planet forever. He once shares his wish with Sheryl but she rudely reminds him that they are away from the planet Antrina only to explore God’s most stunning planet. They have to return to their original abode soon. 

Vincent disagrees with her decision and secretly finds ways to stay on the green plant permanently. He has acquired the knowledge that on this land all different living species live in a group and have their own particular way of verbal communication which is not comprehensive to other species. The two-legged human beings are the most powerful creatures who have control over others. Vincent’s over-ambitious nature encourages him to rule the planet. He takes advantage of his power of taking shape of anything and controlling the brain. In the human form, he mingles with the inhabitants and turns them into his followers. 

Vincent is so obsessed with this blue planet that he never hesitates to plot against anybody. He once overhears our goddess Athena who, unknown to his presence, shares her close associate a grave secret, ‘If Sheryl ties nuptial knot with an Earthian, her godly status will be snatched from her. She will no more be part of my magical powers, the energy of a Goddess.’ She just wishes Sheryl would never marry any Earthian. If she does so she will lose her identity and remain as an ordinary Earthian. To keep Sheryl away from his ambitious path, Vincent arranges a meeting of Anthony Delsworth and Sheryl. Both instantly fall in love with each other. It is love at first sight. We all celebrate their wedding as Sheryl finds her life partner on a new planet. None know that time, not even Sheryl, that she is no more a goddess. 

After the event, Vincent openly rebels. With his followers, he settles at Fort Kocchi. With his power of controlling the human brains, he confuses you and misleads you. When he realizes you are protected by the Goddess, he steals the Sword. He is scared of you, so elopes to Egypt.”

What about Martha? 

She is also a Zygote staying with Vincent as a spy of our goddess to warn us in advance about his evil intention. When she meets you she is super excited and a hundred per cent sure that Sheryl as Charu will punish Vincent and help the trapped Mermitians to reach their home. 

‘Does Martha know about the mantra?’ Charu asks.

God knows! She is not in her proper state of mind. If she can be brought to the cave, I may try my magical power on her so that she may give us some hint.’ The leader answers.

Either the sword or Martha can solve the problem. Charu is frustrated. Abhay and Vivian together plan to bring uncle Vincent from Egypt with the sword. They spread a rumour that the real sword is found in the museum itself and it is placed at the same place under tight security. Charu meets Martha in the attire of Sheryl so that the crucial time won’t get wasted in handling her as her appearance won’t make Martha behave hysterically. Martha holds Charu’s hands and whispers,” Sheryl, You are alive then why Vincent says that you are no more with us. That news has broken me from inside but I can never trust him so I have been eagerly waiting for you. Where have you disappeared? Do you know Vincent has stolen your sword and is planning to rule on this planet? I have tried to convince him to go back to our Antrina but he is adamant. “

Charu says, “I am helpless without the sword. Marriage has made me a common lady. I have forgotten the Mantra and its chanting rhythm. How shall I help my people?”

Martha looks deep into her eyes and says, “you can be powerful again because I have made a tattoo of the mantra on my thigh the moment Vincent commands me to take a form of a lady. A handful of our planet’s mineral brought by you is with me. If I sprinkle that on you, the power of opening the gate between The Earth and our planet can be back to you. But this power will be with you only momentary because you are a married lady.”

Charu leaps with joy as she is not married in this life to date and so the power will remain with her. 

She commands Martha to reach the cave as Mermitians are also waiting there. She readily agrees. She carries a golden bag that has minerals in it. They reach the destination. Martha sprinkles mineral on Charu. Magic begins. She recalls the rhythm of chanting the mantra written on Martha’s body. The broken mound joins first and then appears as the gateway to the planet Antrina. 

None believe that this is ultimately happening. Other zygotes and Mermitians take their original jelly form and enter the gate. Abhay, Vivian and Charu bid them farewell. They think life’s journey will be smooth now. But a voice is heard which says, “There is no time to relax. You need to search Vincent and the sword to save the planet Earth.”
