AFTER THIRTY YEARS

Before thirty years,

 My society friends were named Kenrick, Alrick, Glen, Sujal, Atharva, Niel and Yusuf. We were very good friends in our society.

A discussion amongst us was happening, who wants to become what in future. So everyone told their dreams and ambitions. Kenrick and Alrick told that they have not yet decided. Glen told - president of a school, Sujal told cricketer, I told cricketer or comedian, Atharva told mathematician, Niel told businessman, Yusuf told pilot.

So a challenge was set between us to meet after thirty years to see who became successful in making their dreams true. We all were in school at that time. I and Kenrick were 15, Alrick and Sujal were 12, Niel was 11, Glen was 16, Yusuf was 13, Atharva was 10.

After completing our school and college studies everyone were separated as we went in different jobs.

After thirty years,

Everyone had become middle-aged, that is above forty years. All of us met but Atharva didn’t come. We all became what we wanted to. Alrick and Kenrick became footballer but we could not meet Atharva. So we all went to search for him. We searched for him everywhere. Sujal had Atharva's sister number. So he asked her about Atharva. She told he was in London. We all went to London. We heard in London that he had become a popular mathematician. But he was not there in London. All friends came to know he was in Manchester so all friends went to Manchester and found he had been leading a lavish and luxurious life and owned a marvellous house. We all met each other and were happy to see each other rather than to see who has become what. The story was more about to find a lost friend than to see his success in life.
