A Screaming Dream
A Screaming Dream
Not so feeling sleepy
I rolled down on my floor
Chill night breeze let in
Bringing to me dreams sore.
Snoozed cells fail to recognize
Uninviting touch on me
Gasping for breath
I yawn and yawn
Unopened veins to the heart
Fails to pump in the blood
A sleep day ever to remember
A dream that showed your true colors
That moved away from you
From a life spent in vain!
