This being a story may bear a close resemblance to many but is a completely fictional work based on personal life experiences and any similarity with name and event is purely coincidental and wholly unintentional.

Rohan was a financial sector worker. The financial sector is a huge employer and anybody and everybody having requisite qualifications or otherwise gives a try for once to be employed here. Although the field is risky there is a trade-off between risk and reward and is heavily tilted towards the latter. Rohan was smart being young and agile and in addition to his many qualities was very hardworking and diligent. In a very short period of time, Rohan learnt the tricks of his trade and the nuances of financial market. Year on year on stellar performance Rohan rise among ranks and got remunerated well. He earned the trust of his seniors and the belief of his clients.

But all is not a fairy tale. In every human organisation there is always a silent participant that is the mind. Therefore each one has to face a lot of mind games and whoever manages this effectively comes out as the winner. Rohan was also subjected to this. His heady success was the cynosure of many. He had many friends among his colleagues. Rohan's continued success story started becoming a headache for many. The workplace is an aspirational laboratory table for all and who does not want to shine. Because success will give one more wealth one would be able to keep the family better and would give more freedom for indulgence.

So, as a result, Rohan had to face with increasing jealousy and cold shoulder. In a financial sector one cannot work isolated and in total watertight condition and work is based on team effort and trust. So if a group of people or individual who whole certain clout if are having malicious intent may easily game the system and put someone on the Dock

Although innocence can be proved but it's a long drawn bureaucratic process that may test the patience of the involved individuals. So our Rohan was also implicated in a messy transaction not his own creation but became a victim of the system.

As generally happens Rohan was implicated and the onus of proving his innocence wholly lay on him. Rohan to be able to be given a clean chit had to get the support of his team mates. But his team looked the other way because to get Rohan out of the way the whole team could benefit and enjoy the spoils which otherwise Rohan would enjoy singly. There is a lot of cannibalism present there is such a work hierarchy. So Rohan finding his back to the wall gave up the fight and resigned. He could have fought if he wanted and was confident enough to win but he did not want his friends to suffer. This is one of the traits of human nature present since kingdom come - jealousy and revenge.

The next phase of life for Rohan was challenging as expected. Though he was a bit down but not out. He was a fighter and knew how to cling on. In his school and college, he was known as the 'Wall' for idolising the cricket star Rahul Dravid. Because Rohan played his cricket cloning Dravid. Days were passing and Rohan had to find something concrete because his father had retired and he had a school going son and family expenses were burgeoning. During one of these days, Rohan came across a friend of college days with whom he had lost track. His friend Rohit gave the details of his office and asked him to call up in a couple of days. Rohit was also working in a financial organization, a multi national company. This company had recently set up an office in India and was on a recruitment drive. Rohan was selected. The company was kind enough to give Rohan good monetary compensation fully trusting his abilities. Rohan thought that even there are good people around.

Because he was in a tight spot financially and felt ashamed to ask help from his father. Even the school his son studied agreed to accept his son's fees with a couple of months' delay. Rohan thought about the strange turn of events his life had suddenly taken. On one hand, he was subjected to such cruelty and inhuman trait. Simultaneously he was being made such a benefactor and human kindness was overflowing that Rohan could not be grateful enough.

He thought of the strange contrast of the human nature. Because of the good deeds of people, life becomes worth living and there is continuity of goodness which makes life liveable.
