A Myth -'Forever'

Forever, always, till the end, and so many more words that give us the illusion of a 'beautiful lie'.

When I was a kid, I always thought the person I call my BFF would always be my "best friend forever".

Ahhh, but what a lie! What a lie! 

I think one of the worst part about growing up and adulting is you learn the truth - hard way or easy way but somehow you do! Which is of course as important as anything but who likes bitter things?

Forever is such a deep, powerful and promising shallow thing that you never ever realise that forever is simply till whenever. 

Till the day I keep choosing you, till the day our differences don't do us apart, till the day our bond sustains and till the day we keep loving the other person.

My forever with him began with a promise, a pact, a treaty, a letter that had our signatures with 'oh so cute little hearts'! 

 Friendship happened, Love happened, Life happened.

Some things and others, fights and disagreements made us outgrow each other.

The ending to that forever occurred!!! 

But do you know what's the best part yet?

The delightful memories that I'm still and for ever will be fond of, the memories that I cherish today and smile, the memories that remind me of all the beautiful things.

But on some days, yes, it aches that forever was not "forever" but I'm happy since it was till whenever, it was beautiful.
