It had been almost three months since Varun was sexually harassed by a female colleague. He had thought to file a case against her but she had warned him for accusing him of raping her. Only the mere mention of the word 'rape' scared him so he didn't file a case against her. He had talked about it with his best friend, Janvi and she had suggested him to take legal action but he couldn't gather courage. But lately, he started living silent and lost. Seeing him sad and depressed, Janvi thought to do something and texted him a message.

Dear Varun,

I know we live in a society where men can't talk about their problems publicly. Where men are not allowed to scream their sadness out aloud. Where men are not meant to cry their heart out. Men are meant to fight we the demon inside them alone. Why? Because men are meant to be strong. But, wai

t! What does being strong actually means? Does it mean that even if you are dying inside but still you have to pretend to be totally fine? No, certainly not! In reality, it means to let the emotions flow without any metal barrier, be it be of sadness or happiness. But, why aren't men able to do so? Because of the so-called society whom they give unnecessary footage will judge them, laugh on them. Often men are being criticized for sexually assaulting women. But what we fail to see that men can also be sexually assaulted by women. And someone needs take a stand against these women too. To make society understand that same legal action needs to be taken against women also for the heinous crime. So stop being a slave of the society and take legal action against her. Because then only you will be able to live freely.

Yours truly,

Janvi
