A Circus Dog

There was a big circus party which went from one city to another and performed their shows.

The circus had many animals who were trained to perform in its shows. One of them was a dog who was trained to fight with tigers and bears in a dangerous show. People cheered till one of the animals either got wounded or even died!

The dog did not want to fight anymore. So one day he bit the collar and ran out of his tent. He ran across the street and did not stop until he was far from the camp.

The circus dog was very strong and well-fed. The street dogs saw him and asked him that he looked very strong and healthy, then what was the reason he was running away.

The circus dog replied that he was leading a comfortable life with good food and care. However, he was forced to fight with lions and bears and risk his life in the ring. That was the reason he ran away from there.

The street dogs murmured that though they had little food to eat, but were in a better state as their lives were not in danger!

The moral of this story is that it is better to have little than have more and be in a precarious situation.
