A Boy For Sports

A boy had a dream to be an athlete but he was born in a very poor family. He used to sell newspaper and then he went to his school. As he was selling newspaper, he always gets late for his school so his teacher always punished him by running 10 rounds. He always used to bargain but when she is out of mind, she adds 5 rounds more. Today her topic was of student's future plan. She told that if you want to be anything in future you need to work hard on it and don't be like him because he never knows what to do. He listened and felt very bad for this and then he found a running race circular and the winner gets rupees 500 and a trophy. He took the form from notice board and went home but while going he found a shoe seller and he liked one of them because it was of his favourite colour and its price was 200 rupees. So he went home to ask for money but in between he found some of his mischievous classmate Rohan and he told that you have 0% chance to win. He told that first race with me and he took the challenge but he was exhausted by running from morning so he lost the race. He got a small injury from a sharp stone. It went in from the shoe because he was using that shoe from years so it's sole got damaged.

When he went home he started his homework and asked to participate but his mom told no because you will get nothing from sports you need to study so your future becomes brighter than us. He told you never care for me and banged off the room. He applied some medicine on the wound. His mother wrote a letter on a box and closed the door quietly. He saw a box so he went to check what's inside and read the letter. It was written that "we had a lot of things missing for you. But you know that as your footsteps entered the house happiness and joy came behind you. Your father left nothing for us only a pair of shoes and I am handing it to you". Next day was the race, and as the race started he was on 2nd place and that same boy Rohan pushed him down. Her mother got shocked but still he didn't lose his hope, he stood up and again started the race and after he won the race and got a cheque of 500 rupees and a big trophy as an achievement. Now he got his future plan and was very happy about that.
