5 After 10
5 After 10
My body filled with butterflies. I can only describe this feeling to a childish reference. You can't help but feel this way when someone that has a piece of your heart. Casual is what I tried to make out of it. I put on a green sweatshirt with tan khakis joggers. I gelled up my brown hair, then added a hint of Bleu de Chanel. As I showed up to her house I couldn't help but have a smile slowly creeping across my face when I saw her. A pure white dress, whiter than the clouds that cover our sky even. And with that a pink coat for the chilling winds that might come upon us during the afternoon. Her face, her brows that weren't demeaning but yet soft and gentle. Her eyes a brown sugar touched a smile that is a disease if you're near it. And her long brown hair that you can comb with your fingers for hours in a day. "What's that smile for" she said in a joking matter. "Nothing, come on, let's see this movie you've been dying to see" I said with a hint of sarcasm. When we get there we go to buy our candies and popcorn. There are two types of people in this world. Skittles and M&Ms. we looked at each other. "Ewe you like skittles" she said in humor. "Ewe you like M&Ms" I said mocking her. "Don't judge me okay I need chocolate to survive" she said with sarcasm. I always hate those previews and ads that they show for 20 minutes before the movie starts but I didn't mind it this time we got to talk for what felt like hours. And then the movie started. It was a romance with a hint of comedy. It came to a never ending love scene and literally everyone around us were kissing we found it funny and we looked at each other and or like why not. So I kissed her. And it was anything and everything that I imagined. I can't help but think that the person that has a piece of my heart, I will have a piece of theirs too. We ran out of popcorn, she offered to go refill it. I said "Oh no let me". She laughed "It's no big deal, I'll be right back". It's been a while, I checked the time, it was 5 after 10. I went out of the theater the movie was still playing. The lights were blinding I checked everywhere around this place and I couldn't find her, my shoes were gettin
g dirty with all the popcorn on the floor. I went over to the popcorn stand and ask the guy if she knew where she was. He said "Yeah, came over for a refill then went back over there, then she went walking out with some guy". I asked to see the security cameras and to my surprise they let me. On the colored screen I saw her getting a refill popcorn then when I saw her walking back towards the theater. Then she stopped. A guy was coming up to her, I feel like I've seen him before, like at school or something. They looked like they knew each other, she dropped her popcorn and hugged him they kissed him. My heart sank, every bone in my body broke and half and then broke and half again. Then she ran out the door with him. I tried not to shed a tear all I could shed was anger. I would so confused so angry so upset so broken. I called my friends and her friends and my parents and her parents. Tried to see if they knew where she went they all said no and asked why what happened it was too painful to explain right away so I didn't. The strangest thing was that her parents didn't seem to care so much well foster parents. She didn't seem to show as though she was happy in her home but yet never showed that she was sad either. I never saw her ever again even at school she was just gone. It's been 4 years, my heart was for another girl, my girlfriend and she was everything I wanted and so much more. We decided to go to the movie theaters for our seventh date. We went to go get our tickets, she was cashing in our money. While I was waiting I glanced over on the other side of the road and for a split second I saw those brown sugar eyes, they looked so familiar. It was her my heart tore and reunited at that moment, we saw each other and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I rubbed my eyes to see if what I was seeing was real but when I looked over on the other side of the road again she was gone. "Are you coming" my girlfriend said with a smile. "Yeah" I said with a chuckle. My mind came back to reality. When I saw her, all of those memories resurfaced. I tried to forget the pain, forget the anger, and forget Holly...her name was Holly.
