How long must I fight this losing battle?

I am running into stone walls of emotions.

I am beat,

I am broken,

Do you see me?

Do you see how hard I try?

How I fight for you?

I have used all my energy,

My time,

And tears on you.

Still you just stare past me,

You are blind to all I am.

But I surrender.

You won.

I have done all that I can.

I leave you with this,

You may one day remember,

My patience, Love and caring,

How I was always true.

And when your chest close up,

and the tears won't stop,

and you feel how your heartrate begins to slowly drop,

When all you do is hope and wish that it just goes away.
