You Lost It All!

You have done all the things which they wanted you to do, 

You have walked all the pathways which they wanted you to cross,

You have played all the roles which they thought would be the best for you, 

But it was only once, when you tried to breathe your own air and live your own life just for moments though, 

You went wrong!

You went so wrong that you just lost it all.

All the trust, what they called, became a matter of past,

All your versed advices, turned into overstuffed statements, 

All the principles you stood firm upon, now seen as mere comfort zone.

And then, when suddenly you looked back, all it seemed to be all losers game,

Nobody won.. neither those for the sake of whom you did all the sacrifices nor you who forgot that you too have wings to fly just like all the other birds.

And that's how, you lost it all, my darling!
