You Are The Reason

The blooming garden wilted,

As the glowing sun tilted below the sea,

The flowers waited for the sun to rise again

But only darkness grew with the rain.

Will you come again to bloom my buds?

Maybe yes, maybe no!

So much uncertainty yet I remain in hope,

Hoping that my buds will bloom again

Because of you!

I’ve been waiting and before I lose hope,

Come back and shower your sunshine upon me.

Every time I see the slightest ray,

I jump out with glee hoping it to be you.

But my expectations are high,

And perhaps I should keep them low.

And still, I wait with that little ray of hope,

That one day,

You will be back.

So that my buds may bloom again because of you!
