You And Me
You And Me
I believed in all the other things,
But not love.
Saying the world is not so innocent,
To leave something so pure for me.
Chasing all the things I can't hold.
Looking at the future that can't be mold.
But you said you saw the sparks,
Love and the future that I can't see.
Believing in all the things I deny,
Seeking for joys that are simple.
Holding a heart that has holes,
Mended and beautifully broken.
Yet you smile and believe magical things,
Unlike me.
Saying the world is too beautiful,
To hold only pain and sketch grey.
I paused and smiled.
Reality and fantasy,
That's you and me.
