Wondrous Skies

Wondrous Skies

As I watch the sun as it dawns,

It's fiery veins lighting up

The conquering darkness

And as the silver sparks of the moon

Rises to replace our beacon of light

I wonder;

What would happen if the sun never set?

Why should we need such a nightly realm?

And why should the sun be such a raging soul while the moon remains peaceful?

I wonder.

As the bright specks of wondrous light

Slowly fills the blackness of the night sky

Fills my senses with wonderment.
