WINTER SNUGGLES....

Winter, Woolens, Warmth

just as they are thematic, 

So much more I feel 

they are dramatic. 

As children we would snuggle near Ma, 

on winter nights and listen to her 

evergreen stories. 

Stories of homelessness, rich people, parents' worries. 

She would narrate to us stories

picked up from the human fabric, 

warm and real. 

Giggles and snuggles with Ma's breathing

would write that year's winter song. 

The warmth near Ma under the blanket, 

would ease our daily struggles. 

Those difficult days of shoestrings, 

Would ni more be a tight rope walking. 

 Under the warm blanket snuggle

There is heart energy exchange. 

Melts aways the troubles 

and brings back cuddles.
